The latest on my easel...
Bringing Back the Shade
This painting is part of an exhibit called Wright from the Heart, where artists are paired with writers to present complimentary works together. I am paired with a poet whose poem "A Day in April" served as the inspiration for this painting. The show will be at the Steven Rodgers Gallery in the Yountville Community Hall and will run from January - March 2025.

Rebecca’s art brings the viewer into the scene and makes them feel part of the experience. Seeing the detailed strokes of the brush on the grass translates into feeling the blades of grass on your fingers, the rough texture of rocks as you brush your hand over it. The artwork brings you somewhere else and gives you the opportunity to travel while standing still.
